I took the ACS examination and I purchased this book for review. I found it quite helpful. Even though I did not ace the exam, there were many reactions that were easier to recognize because I had reveiwed this book. I felt better prepared and did considerably better than fellow classmates who did not have this resource. As has already been mentioned..this book is not easy to find.
I highly recommend this book for review purposes, and I would also keep it in reach for reference.

This product is extremely helpful if you are going to be taking the official ACS Organic Chemistry exam. It reviews all of the topics that will be on the test and also provides sample questions with explanations on how to narrow down the answer choices and select the correct answer. At the end of each section there are also practice questions for you to test yourself and the answers are provided in the book. My only problem with this book is that if your school breaks down Organic Chemistry into two semesters, the book does not differentiate between semesters. Some topics in the book include material from both semesters and it is hard to tell what material will be on each test.
