Needed this book for a class, but professor hinted that 2nd Edition would be pretty much same as 3rd. After comparing, there are slight differences, but it's almost the same exact book and it was perfectly usable on my class. If you need the book, but have a low budget you might want to consider 2nd edition, that sells for less than 10.00, and buying the Connect Card from the publisher themselves where you get a much better deal than what you would get at a regular college bookstore.
Overall a good book and a good class.

This book offers a variety of information. The lectures are very straight to the point and a lot of colorful pictures and graphics. It is very easy to read and understand.
