Quilt As You Go Reimagined Description
Quilt As You Go with a modern, fresh twist! No one will ever never know your quilts are quilt-as-you-go and that's the twist.
Quilt As You Go is the process of making quilt blocks (up to 16 inches square) and then quilting them - it's so easy! Join the quilted blocks and you almost have a finished quilt, you just need the binding.
This book teaches a few modern twists on a very popular technique which results in simple, easy to make quilts that can be made from "fat quarters", "jelly rolls" and "charms" as well as yardage and scraps.
You'll learn to make
four easy quilts, tips for preparing your blocks for quilting, four methods of straight line machine quilting, 15 photos take you step-bystep through the joining process and an easy machine binding that finishes up with our "pretty corners" technique!
With each of the
four quilts you'll see a slightly different way to incorporate quilt-as-you-go into modern quilts. Each of the four twists can be adapted in several ways, making this a technique book that just keeps your inspiration going.
Marguerita and her daughter Sarah, best known for their book Crazy Shortcut Quilts, have reinvented quilt-as-you-go and share all their new tips with you in this compact, exciting book.

I had quit making full size quilts because of the problem of quilting on my standard size machine. With the guidelines and instructions in this book, I am back to quilting again. I recommend this book to everyone who likes to piece and applique, but shys away from the quilting.

Another winner by this quilting/writing team. Excellent patterns for the quilt as you go method which hide the joining strips by putting them into the pattern. One pattern in particular is wonderful for prints that just begged not to be cut into little pieces.
