Useful guide but I thought it was lacking insider's tip. it's more history than facts. You will probably need a second guide to complement.

This guide was very useful in planning our 2 week trip to Tuscany. We had two bases and I used the guide to plan our driving activities for each day. It is comprehensive but not lacking in information.
