Norway has rich traditions in handcrafts, architecture, and particularly in fairy tales. This is a remarkable book! I bought it for my 3 yr. old Granddaughter and it arrived today. It FAR exceeded my expectations! Although the draw for me was our Norwegian ancestry and the beautiful photographs (and the fact that Anja and our Granddaughter could be twins), the message wins the prize. This is a must Christmas book for every family, and not just one with young children. I am ordering 2 more just because I know I'll give them away. Should get some sort of prize!
